About Me

I am not a typical therapist

— partly by nature, and partly by design. I offer a direct, grounded, and deeply human approach to healing. As an autistic, trauma-informed, person-centered clinician with a dry sense of humor and a fierce commitment to social justice, I hold space for people navigating life’s complexities with honesty, compassion, and clarity.

I believe our first community is our families, and healthy families create healthy communities, so consequently therapeutic work has a ripple effect far beyond the therapy room. Life contains both deep pain and the necessity of joy. The systems that shape our lives often distort our sense of self—especially for those in the margins—but they can be changed. Healing becomes possible when we are seen, supported, and allowed to reclaim our narrative. I know this because I’ve lived it.

I specialize in working with kids of all ages who’ve been labeled “difficult,” individuals recovering from narcissistic abuse, those who feel like the black sheep, and blended families learning how to redefine connection and care.

Grounded in modalities like mindfulness, somatic awareness, radical acceptance, and motivational interviewing, my practice is client-centered and strengths-based. You are the expert in your own life, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as a guide and collaborator.

Whether we’re deconstructing internalized beliefs shaped by white supremacy, exploring identity, rebuilding self-esteem, or designing a life that fits you—I bring curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to challenge the norm. My practice is a refuge for those who feel deeply, ask hard questions, and have always been the outlier.

I serve the Spokane community and beyond in Washington state, partnering with clients who are ready to do the work and looking for a therapist who brings intellect, integrity, and passion to the table.

I receive ongoing supervision from Dr. Kade Sharp, PhD, LICSW, CMHS, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor with Spectrum Counseling. I am pursuing a certification in Play Therapy and additional training related to sex therapy.
