WHO I WORK WITH
Spokane Counseling Services available throughout Washington State

Spokane Counseling Services are available for children, adolescents, and adults, with in-person therapy in Spokane and telehealth throughout Washington. I provide collaborative, neurodivergent-affirming support that honors the unique strengths, experiences, relationships, and challenges each person brings into the therapy room.

Every person arrives with a unique story, and therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Whether you are looking for support with anxiety, autism, ADHD, parenting, relationships, burnout, identity, or life transitions, Spokane Counseling Services are adapted to your goals, communication style, and lived experience. Together, we create space for curiosity, authenticity, practical growth, compassion, and respect.

People come to therapy with different histories, communication styles, identities, family structures, and ways of experiencing the world. You do not need to fit a specific label or have a formal diagnosis before beginning. Our work can start with what you already know, what you are questioning, and what currently feels difficult or unsustainable.

These Spokane Counseling Services are designed to meet you where you are. Therapy may focus on a specific concern, a major transition, long-standing patterns, family relationships, or a growing sense that something in your life needs to change.

WHAT I HELP WITH

Therapy is tailored to your goals and can support emotional wellbeing, personal growth, relationships, and navigating life’s challenges in ways that fit who you are. We can identify what feels overwhelming, understand patterns that may have developed around survival or belonging, and explore changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

Some people begin therapy with a clear concern. Others arrive with questions, exhaustion, difficulty trusting themselves, or the feeling that familiar strategies are no longer working. Spokane Counseling Services can provide space to slow down, understand what is happening, and build supports around your actual needs rather than outside expectations.

  • Anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and burnout
  • Emotional regulation, coping skills, and recognizing personal limits
  • Identity development, self-understanding, and authenticity
  • Self-esteem, self-trust, and reducing shame
  • Parenting and supporting neurodivergent children
  • Family roles, boundaries, communication, and relationship challenges
  • Life transitions, changing expectations, grief, and uncertainty

The goal is not to force you into a standard definition of success. Together, we can clarify what matters to you, strengthen your ability to recognize and communicate your needs, and develop approaches that support a more connected and sustainable life.

MY APPROACH

My work is collaborative, neurodivergent-affirming, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs, communication preferences, relationships, age, and goals rather than relying on a single method.

You bring expertise about your own life. I bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, directness, and a commitment to creating a space where you do not have to mask, perform, or prove that your experiences matter. Spokane Counseling Services can include conversation, play, creative expression, skills practice, reflection, body awareness, and practical problem-solving.

  • Play Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Somatic awareness and attention to physical experiences
  • Mindfulness-based interventions
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Strengths-based practice
  • Radical acceptance

Approaches are selected because they support your goals—not because you are expected to adapt yourself to a predetermined method. We can discuss what feels useful, what does not fit, and how therapy can remain responsive as your needs change.

Therapy is a collaborative process that evolves over time. We regularly discuss what is working, what feels helpful, and where adjustments may be useful so that treatment continues to reflect your needs rather than following a rigid plan. My goal is for therapy to remain practical, respectful, and meaningful throughout the process.
